Josh Groban - Per Te

(Engl. Übersetzung)

For You

I smell in the air the scent of you
Little dreams had lived with me
Now I know, I don’t wanna lose you
That sweetness which has no age
Your beauty has no rivals
My heart wants only you

For you, For you, I’ll live
Love is gonna win
With you, With you, I’ll have
Hundreds days of happiness
Hundreds nights of serenity
I’ll do what you’ll ask me to
I’ll go always anywher you go
I’ll give all the love I feel for you

Tell me that you know the future, yet
Tell me that this is not gonna change
Without you I don’t wanna exist

For you, For you, I’ll live
Love is gonna win
With you, With you, I’ll have
Hundreds days of happiness
Hundreds nights of serenity
I’ll do what you’ll ask me to
I’ll go always anywher you go
I’ll give all the love I feel for you

I mustn’t say it to you, by now you know it
That I would die without you

For you, For you, I’ll live
Love is gonna win
With you, With you, I’ll do
Everything you’ll ask me to
I’ll go always anywher you go
I’ll give all the love I feel for you

Über den Sänger in Wikipedia:

"Josh Groban was born in Los Angeles, California, to a Jewish American father (a descendant of Polish and Russian immigrants) and a Norwegian American mother. His father converted to Christianity upon marriage, and Groban was raised an Anglican-Episcopalian.

Groban has not been the subject of much tabloid fodder per se but an image of the perfect classical artist painted by a sect of fans known as Grobanites recently took a hit when Groban was interviewed and photographed by edgy publication Blender Magazine (…). In an article entitled "Who Does Josh Groban Think He Is", Groban candidly admitted to experimenting with pot once, picking his nose, using the F word and a taste for comfortable sex. In another recent article in the Los Angeles Daily News, Groban made no apologies for the shocked reactions from Grobanites: "My press has not emphasized a lot of personality stuff," he was quoted as saying. "It's been a lot more about the seriousness of the music, or whether or not people like the music."

He also makes no apologies for trying new sounds in his music. "From the very beginning, I've never tried to make people believe that this was classical music; it's pop music," Groban was quoted as saying. "I have a huge respect for opera, which is why I've never done opera. There will be a specific time and place if and when I decide to tackle something from that genre. But in the meantime, I've just been experimenting and trying things that work for my voice.""
